DC5 ~Da Capo 5~ Soma Kujou, a student at Kankanmi Academy, attends school with his childhood friend and quasi-sibling queen, Menoa Yasaka, his older sister and student council president, Yukina Tokisaka, the high-class lady Akaari Shirakawa, who admires him as a brother, and the mysterious information broker, Suginami, among others. They all lead a lively and enjoyable school life.
In Kankanmi Academy, there is a mysterious cherry blossom tree known as the “Sakura of Sohakari” that is beloved by the students. This tree, which indicates the consensus of the students regarding events within the academy, is highly valued by festival-loving students.
During events related to everyone’s interest, known as “Sohakarigoto,” students wear either a “white” or “black” cape over their uniforms and gather their thoughts at the Sakura of Sohakari. This has become a tradition within the academy.
The recent topic at the academy revolves around whether this year’s “Kankan Festival” should be a cultural festival or a sports festival. In an effort to secure opportunities for their activities, the cultural and sports clubs engage in an appeal battle leading up to the “Sohakarigoto” organized by the student council, which has become a tradition at the academy.
Then, one day, in front of Soma, who visits the Water Mirror Lake, the “other cherry blossom,” which had not bloomed for many years, shines and blossoms. From the sky above, along with the falling cherry blossom petals, a girl descends.
“Yes, it’s you…”
Whispers the mysterious girl, Mizuha Sakuragi.
As the boy and girl meet, destiny begins to unfold.
Amidst the out-of-season cherry blossoms dancing in the air, the story of the boys and girls begins—lifting the curtain.
