Of the Red, the Light, and the Ayakashi Tsuzuri: Yue, a young boy raised in the Utsuwa mountain shrine, forms an unlikely friendship with “Ayakashi” spirits in this modern Japanese-style fantasy. During the winter festival, attended with his black fox companion Kurogitsune, Yue encounters two mysterious boys as he glimpses the outside world for the first time. Upon returning to the shrine, Mikoto, the shrine’s owner, instructs him to prepare the “meal.”
Explore the enchanting tale of “Of the Red, the Light, and the Ayakashi,” a 2011 PC game by HaccaWorks*. This dojin group’s second release has evolved into a 10-volume comic book, a novel, drama CD, and more. The 2014 PSP re-release features a revised main scenario, full voices, a prequel, and a new ending. Now available on Nintendo Switch™, this edition includes added content such as a digital illustration collection, updated game specifications and UI, and multilingual support (Japanese/English/Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese).
